Small change can make a big change
CUSTOMERS of Kilmarnock’s Bon Marche shop have raised more than £450 at a recent balloon launch.
The cash will be going to the company’s SANDS (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society) campaign, which aims to raise £40,000.
The campaign is the brainchild of the company’s area manager Sean Casey in memory of his little daughter, Ciara.
Sean and his wife were marking their 40th birthdays this year and they pledged to raise the bumper amount for the charity.
Kilmarnock shop manager Jill Power said: “The balloon launch was fantastic, and our customers have been so generous. We’d also like to thank Marks and Spencer for their kind donation and Asda who blew up the balloons for us.”
